A free museum, funded by donations
In 2025 the Chen Ding-Nan Memorial Park welcomed 24,127 visitors and ran programmes in human rights, environmental and civic education. Its running costs that year came from 872 private donations. Supporters outside Taiwan can give online by credit card, once or monthly.

Oral history project
Interviews with Chen Ding-Nan's colleagues, friends and family: 33 people interviewed so far and about 40 more planned, for publication.

Digitising the collection
Tens of thousands of manuscripts, photographs and recordings, preserved and made searchable in a digital archive.

Restoring the family home
The century-old courtyard house where Chen Ding-Nan was born needs constant care in Yilan's humid climate.
Giving from outside Taiwan
The overseas donation form accepts credit cards, for a single gift or a monthly gift. Amounts are in New Taiwan dollars (NT$). The form is in Chinese; these are the steps.
- Under 付款選項 (payment options), choose 單次 for a single gift or 定期捐款 for a monthly gift.
- Under 金額 (amount), choose an amount or enter one under 自訂金額 (other amount).
- Under 海外捐款基本資料 (overseas donor details), enter family name (姓氏), given name (名字), country and city, and an email address.
- Enter card details to complete the donation. A confirmation is sent by email.
Receipts
Receipts are sent by email. They are valid for tax purposes in Taiwan only. For monthly gifts, one receipt for the year's total is issued at the end of the year.
